You must bring the following items with you to the LTC Course:
- TX Driver’s License or Texas Identification Card
- Handgun of your choice (Rentals available at $25.00, if needed)
- 50 rounds of ammunition (Ammunition available for purchase, if needed)
- Ear and Eye Protection (Available for purchase, if needed)

THIS IS NOT A FIREARMS TRAINING COURSE AND DOES NOT PROVIDE SHOOTING INSTRUCTION. YOU MUST BE PROFICIENT WITH A FIREARM PRIOR TO TAKING THE LTC COURSE AND ATTEMPTING COMPLETION OF THE LTC PROFICIENCY QUALIFICATION.

Five Easy Steps to Obtain Your Texas LTC
1) Apply for your Texas LTC license online at https://www.texas.gov.
2) Upon completion of the Texas LTC license application, you may be directed to the Identogo website at https://uenroll.identogo.com. Enter the Identogo code (119Q91) and schedule your fingerprinting appointment. You may complete the aforementioned actions before taking the LTC Course.
